Jonah Rowe has an uneventful life. He is always bored, can’t see the point of anything, and just wishes that something in his life would turn out right. He gets his wish in rude fashion; his uneventful life takes a turn for the weird when he discovers that he is an Eleventh Percenter, an ethereal human who can influence and interact with the spirit world. As he discovers more about his true nature, he makes new friends, learns new truths, and juggles his “normal” life with his new life in fellowship with spiritual beings. His survival depends on his successful handling of all three.

I absolutely loved and devoured this story!! This is Book 1 in a series and I will be happily reading the rest of the series as soon as possible!!! Mr. Morris did a wonderful job with this story and putting the detail into the characters and background! I am giving this book 5 Super stars! I cannot wait to read the next book.
Jonah Rowe has a crappy job that he must force himself to go to everyday. His passion is writing, however, he finds himself blocked part way through everything he starts to write. He wished for the writers block to end and for his job to be so much more than it is. After all it is not the job he aspired for when he went to college, but you do what you have to do to pay the bills.
One day life changes drastically. While leaving work something very strange indeed happened. Suddenly seeing a spirit asking for his help can be a bit alarming. Little did he know that was just the beginning. Suddenly Jonah is being assisted with a group of the 11th Percent. The 11th Percent are called that as they are able to access and use more than just the 10th percent of their brain that most people use. This allows for some amazing abilities and the ability to see spirits. Unfortunately there is some upheaval and Jonah finds himself being quickly taught and thrown in the midst of a lot of turmoil.
This brings Jonah many realizations and he quickly finds himself. I absolutely loved how much background was jammed into this book! It gives you the depth that you need without weighing it down. I loved meeting all the wonderful characters in this book, (I loved Reena a lot, I absolutely despised Trip!) and learning about them. I am looking forward to reading the next book asap as I was not ready to quit reading yet.
Thank you very much for your wonderful story Mr. Morris. Very original and a refreshing change!!!

Jonah thought he had The 11th Percent figured out.
There was more to life than he’d thought, spirits were real, and he had access to ethereal powers. He got that.
But he hadn’t expected this. This was one threat too many. One revelation too many.
He wasn’t prepared for ethereal creatures who threatened the body and the mind.
Jonah is the only thing in the way of the town of Rome being bathed in lifeblood. And the worst part of it is that his survival hinges on his confronting the one thing he never thought he’d have to.
His past.
The new breed of ghost story continues in this multilayered book that introduces new allies, unearths old secrets, and presents fresh threats!

“Scius is the obvious enemy. Inimicus is the enemy that you don’t know you don’t know. The one you’d never see coming in a million lifetimes.”
That was what Jonah was told.
And now, he knows Inimicus is in the game. His unseen enemy is prowling through the shadows, making moves that no one can predict or prevent, and armed with a weapon more dangerous than any ethereal blade or staff: anonymity.
Jonah thought he had ventured into uncharted waters before, but the past was nothing compared to this. In the past, the enemies were known. Now, no amount of power can help you fight an enemy that you “don’t know you don’t know.”
In this latest installment in The 11th Percent Series, loyalties will be tested. People will lose sight of what’s truly important. The line between friend and enemy will get blurred. And the question everyone’s mind is also the same one that holds the difference between victory and downfall: Who can you trust?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am an unabashed bibliophile, and have been my entire life. From a very, very early age, I ate up tall tales, fairy tales, Greek and Norse mythology, all types of children's fiction, and fiction I had trouble understanding because it was for people older than I was at the time. At times, it was nothing strange for me to read every day, all day.
My love for fiction spilled over into my childhood. My imagination was well stoked. To this day, I remember setting up my action figures specific ways, with explanations and background info to justify the reasoning they were positioned so. I guess even back then, you could say I was creating characters and backstory.
I think the bug to actually write a book of my own happened in the fourth grade. We had an assignment to make nine-ten page "books" which were actually pieces of notebook paper bound by construction paper and yarn. We had to read these stories to the other fourth grade class. I did that, and loved it. I loved for people to hear my words, thereby share my vision. It lit something in me, however faint it may have been at the time. But it sparked then and never left. Throughout my adolescence and years at undergrad, many ideas swirled about in my head, but none could actually be turned into full books. In 2010, I attempted to write a book, but abandoned it unfinished. In early 2011, I had an uninterrupted, seven-hour dream that I recounted to my wife after we were awake. When I was finished, she said flat-out, "That needs to be a book." So I set to work, not having a concrete, rigid plan and allowing the story to lead, guide, and sometimes, throttle me. The result was The 11th Percent. While I was in the process of writing it, it became crystal clear that that dream had no plans to be contained in one book, so what was initially The 11th Percent has become the The 11th Percent Series. I put pen to pad and let it guide me.
Creating these people and situations is one of the most wonderful things imaginable. I am in this for the long haul. I love breathing life into my creative visions, and am thrilled and excited to share those visions with all of you.
